Veterans Aid and Attendance Pension Benefit

Most veterans are not aware of an important benefit available through the U.S Government commonly known as the “Veterans Aid and Attendance Pension Benefit.” This VA benefit can provide up to $2,800 per month veterans and their surviving spouses can use for personal home care services – for the rest of their lives!

Indeed, the need for long-term care can be one of the greatest crises a veteran has faced since returning from war. Without help, an older veteran (or the veteran’s widow or widower) may forfeit one or all of the three most important lifestyle goals in old age:

• Remaining independent
• Having enough money
• Maintaining good health

Personal home care can help with health and independence.  However, the cost of senior care could wipe out a lifetime of savings and drain equity in a home.

Even though one in three seniors might be eligible for the aid and attendance pension, very few people actually know about the VA Benefit!

How Can You Qualify for Up to $2,800 Per Month?

Are you are a veteran over age 65?  Did you serve honorably in the active military service during a period of war?  Are you a surviving spouse of a veteran, regardless of age?  If so, you should find out if you qualify.
