To create this year’s list Expertise scored 60 home health care agencies in Orlando on more than 25 variables across five categories, resulting in a list of the 13 best agencies. These five scoring categories include:

Your community is our community! We are focused on the needs of seniors in Central Florida and our local employees.
Flourish in Place is a family-owned home care agency, and our owners Kim and Melanie Lee are very involved with the First United Methodist Church of Orlando and with the Orlando community.
We partner with the First UMC of Orlando’s Sewing for Others group to distribute sensory blankets and lap robes to our clients as a part of our goal to provide innovative services.
Our co-founders Kim and Melanie Lee are also proud members of the First UMC of Orlando’ group: Forward Together: All Means All. This group aims to move their church to be completely affirming, welcoming, and fully inclusive of all people, with a focus on the LGBTQ+ community.
Our mission is to provide compassionate and innovative care for seniors and persons with disabilities, which inspires them to flourish with dignity in the comfort and safety of their own homes.
We also value having an experienced and highly trained team of caregivers. Our caregivers have multiple years of professional experience and receive many hours of specialized education and training. They are also required to complete regular ongoing training to ensure they’re providing the highest quality care to our clients.
In addition, every caregiver undergoes thorough reference and criminal background checks including fingerprinting, Level 2 background screening, certification of driver’s license records, and drug testing. For added reassurance, all of our caregivers are covered by an employee fidelity bond and by $2 million in general, professional, auto liability, and $1 million in workers compensation insurance.
Flourish in Place also matches our clients with a carefully selected caregiver who’s the perfect fit. We offer home care options for every need and budget, and specialize in helping families find solutions to pay for the appropriate level of care.
